Dive Into Our New Programs!

Spring is almost here! Come join us!

Over the past few weeks I have been getting things organized for our new programs and lining up future events that we host. Some aren't new to us, others are for the first time!

Current: Facebook Challenge

Ends: April 1, 2017

This consist of Businesses in our area supporting us by putting up our flyers at their locations, giving out a golden ticket coupon or prize from LCA to a loyal customer or employee. This is excellent for us and for them. We will then share their post on facebook about the challenge on our page and add them to a "Our Supporters" page on our website.

If you own or work at a business that would participate please let me know and I will bring a flyer to you or the business.

Upcoming: April & may Programs

This program will be at the park in town. We will meet at the gazebo in the right side of the parking lot when you drive into the main entrance. If it rains we will do our program under the gazebo and if not we will be all over the park doing a variety of training and fun movement games!

Please sign up online through our website as early as possible, I need to get numbers for lane rentals and the earlier you sign up the easier it is for me to plan for every child in the program. Please contact lisa Stephens if you have any questions or need help navigating the website.

Meets: Sandhills Sandsharks Open Water Meet At seven lakes!

dates: June 2-3

Registration Deadline: may 20th

Fee: $60.00

The best part about this meet is that even if you don't swim year round no matter how old you are you can compete in this meet. This meet is unique for people interested in competitive swimming but may only want to do one meet and see if they like it. This would be an excellent tryout for competitive swimming. We went last year and it was so much fun!

Tramway Fitness day: Dryland Field Day

When: May 26, 2017 At 8:00am-1:00pm

Where: tramway Elementary School

I would love to have some volunteers come help out at tramway! Please let me know if you are able to come help out!

Sanford Elks Lodge: partners with LCa's Ashley long

When: beginning in June

Where: Sanford Elks Lodge

For: Sanford elks lodge members only

I will be teaching Mommy & Me, ages 4-7, Ages 8-12 swim lesson sessions at The sanford elks lodge this summer! A long long time ago Coach Greg Huff used to partner with them and this summer I have arranged for us to do that again. We are excited about this partnership and can't wait to work with their members!

Tramway Water Safety Week: Ot Sloan

When: August 7-11, 2017 at 8:00am-12:30Pm

I am in need of 4 lifeguards. If you would like to work Tramway or know someone who does please let me know. I will be leading it this year and would like to get things organized in advance so please let meknow if you are interested in working this water safety unit.
